In 1979, we acquired our first German Shorthaired Pointer, Tanga-Delta of Wittekind (Kaiser van het Schauws- Wittekind Rascal) We called her Carla.  She was a real handfull, full of life, intelligent and affectionate. After that there was no looking back, the GSP was the only breed for us.  We started showing her and attending gundog training classes and we were hooked!

In 1981 Rayweys Boxlock (Field Trial Champion Hurlston Wheelwood Commander- Rayweys Bran) came to live with us.  Hugo was a great little working dog and really fuelled our interest  in working our dogs and training them to do the job for which they were bred.

These two dogs grew up with our children and were ideal family pets, as well as workers and show dogs. Once the children had grown up we had more time to devote to the dogs again and we now live with four GSPs. Clem, Jess, Otto and Rosa . They all live in the house and share everything with us!

Jess had her first and only litter in 2006. She was a great mum and took everything in her stride, needing little help from us.She reared six lovely puppies - 3 boys and 3 girls. We kept Rosa and she has been trained to work in the field, going out on the shoot for the first time in 2008/09 season.

We are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme and we only have a litter when we want a puppy.  We are planning a litter for Rosa in 2010, when she will have had a full season out in the field.
We are situated in Stroud, Gloucestershire and our aim is to produce strong healthy dogs with good temperaments equally at home in the field or the show ring. It goes without saying that they also make wonderful family pets.
