About Us
We acquired our first German shorthaired pointer, Tanga-Delta of Wittekind - Carla, in 1980 - twenty five years ago! She was a real handful, naughty and wilful but we fell in love with her and with the breed. We started showing her and attending gundog training classes and were hooked!
In 1981 Rayweys Boxlock (Hugo) came to live with us. He was from working stock and proved to be a natural.
These two dogs grew up with our children and were ideal family pets, as well as workers and show dogs. Once the children had grown up we had more time to devote to the dogs again and we now own three GSPs.
We are a small kennel in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Our aim is to produce dual purpose dogs, equally at home in the field or the show ring.
Our dogs have marvellous temperaments and would make great family pets provided that they have plenty of exercise and stimulation. Jess and Clem love taking part in Agility and all three dogs are going through the Kennel Club Good Citizen scheme and we are at the moment looking at the possibility of Working Trials.
